Veronika Vazhnik

Dr. Veronika Vazhnik is a Sustainability Consultant at Jacobs and is based in Boise, ID. Previously, Veronika worked on energy resiliency planning at the Idaho Governor�s Office of Energy and Mineral resources and conducted sustainability and decision support research on bioenergy and agricultural systems at Idaho National Laboratory. Alongside that work, Veronika has been involved in climate and sustainability initiatives at the cities of Idaho Falls (ID) and Boise (ID), in Penn State, Idaho National Laboratory, and Hong Kong University. Born and raised in Minsk, Belarus, she received a Ph.D. from Penn State University in BioRenewable Systems and Operations Research and holds a B.Sc. degree from University of Freiburg in Environmental Science. In her free time, Veronika rides and runs local trails, or helps at a nearby urban garden.
